Anderson University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Executive Assistant to VP for Finance and Director for Enterprise Risk & Facilities.
This position will provide administrative support for the offices of the Vice President for Finance & Treasurer and the Director for Enterprise Risk & Facilities.
Responsibilities
Scheduling and organizing a wide variety of meetings, appointments, travel arrangements and other events
Attending specific meetings, preparing/distributing minutes and other documents
Managing general office operations including reception, telephone, receiving/responding to inquiries, office supply inventory, credit card expense reports, maintenance of office equipment
Composing and editing letters, documents, financial statements, enrollment reports, budget reports, and correspondence
Assisting with various finance operations (audit, budget, board meeting preparation)
Assisting with management of driver approval, certificate of insurance requests, and other insurance related matters
Assisting with various customer service requests
Serving on campus committees as assigned
Trouble-shooting problems in VP and Director absences
Requirements
Prior administrative, clerical support and bookkeeping experience
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with transferable skills to the Google Docs Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
Strong organizational, written and verbal communications skills
Ability to make independent judgement decisions, work independently or as a team, as well as willingness to take direction
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and composure in potentially stressful situations
Ability to be flexible, multi-task and support multiple supervisors in the midst of frequent interruptions
A firm sense of responsibility with attention to detail and clear understanding of routine and non-routine administrative tasks
