The Ball State University Alumni Center has an opening for a custodial position.
The custodial position will assist employees in achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, custodial services, delivery of goods, employee efficiency and productivity, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, rules, policies and procedures.

61 FLSA Non-Exempt Hrs/Week Flexible Position Function Perform custodial work required for the cleaning and maintenance of facilities complying with appropriate procedures and techniques for equipment and cleaning products; perform set-up of rooms, including audio/visual equipment.
Minimum Education 1.
High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
Minimum Experience 1.
No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, chemicals, or environmental factors in custodial service.
2.
Must be able to climb/use ladders, scaffolding, and/or manlift of various heights to perform duties.
3.
Must be able to demonstrate basic understanding of A/V equipment.
4.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once, provide friendly and prompt customer service, and work independently.
5.
Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies, procedures, and communications, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
6.
Must be able to perform all the mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty.
7.
Must have at least one year work experience (full time or part time).
8.
You must be 18 years or older.
