This opportunity offers flexible work schedules for those the age of 21 or older seeking full-time work hours.
The facility is open Monday thru Friday, 6am – 5pm.
The opportunity will be working with children in a childcare environment.
Teachers work with Infants and Toddlers (ages 6 weeks – 2 years) in different classrooms setting catered towards children's learning and attending to children's needs within the childcare facility.
Teachers will be provided a daily, weekly or specialized curriculum and will implement the curriculum within their designated classroom.
Teachers will be expected to complete crafts, engage in positive play with children, take care of feedings and hygiene needs (including but not limited to diapers and clothing changes) and assist children in having positive social interactions.
Classroom teachers are responsible for ensuring children are within sight and sound at all times and model positive behavior.
Teachers are to ensure that the classrooms are being represented in a respectable and friendly manner and that all children are in a positive environment allowing them to learn and grow.
Teachers will be provided with proven educational based activities that will be implemented with the children.
Teaching maybe required to assist children during meals and snacks; this may include, but not limited to washing the tables in the classroom, ensuring that the children wash their hands before and after the meals, and correctly documenting children’s behaviors.
Sanitation is a top priority throughout the entire building during the day.
Teachers are responsible and required to maintain their individual assigned classroom ensuring cleanliness throughout the day by picking up toys, wiping down and sanitizing toys, tables, chairs, and other classroom items as well other cleaning and sanitizing duties as required.
Teachers may be asked to work in other classrooms for a short period of time depending on the needs of the center.
Due to state regulations for the care of Infants, Applications MUST be 21 years of age.
