This position provides the opportunity to work in a thriving Testing Center offering educational, placement and distance education examinations for Ball State students as well as the community.

Position Function Serve as a test center administrator to examinees visiting the Testing Center.
Provide reception assistance to clients both over the phone and in person as well as to provide support to Testing Center personnel.
Minimum Education Up to eighteen months of specialized training beyond high school in office administration, secretarial, or related field or equivalent.
Minimum Experience Over one through three years of experience in an office environment; ability to pass and maintain annual certification issued by testing vendors.
Minimum Other Basic computer skills and customer service experience.
Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.
S.
without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education Preferred Experience Additional office experience.
Experience in standardized test administration.
Preferred Other Position Title(s) Supervised None.

Ranking 2 Job Duty Assist clients by facilitating the required check-in process specific to each program (Counseling Center, CBT, Placement, etc.
); check identification; provide the proper paperwork to be completed; state/explain policies and procedures; escort to appropriate lab; maintain confidentiality and required security standards throughout the process.
Ranking 3 Job Duty Assist with the administration of a variety of computer-based testing programs such as GRE, Praxis, GMAT, TOEFL, and MCAT; includes assist candidates with paperwork, launch workstations, monitor exams, and communicate potential security issues; annual certification for ETS/Prometric and Pearson VUE is required.
Ranking 4 Job Duty Assist with the administration of a variety of exams offered during times set by the director and departments on campus while adhering to their specific requirements.
Ranking 5 Job Duty Assist with maintenance of testing calendar; includes schedule clients, record attendance, track inventory, and communicate potential conflicts.
Ranking 6 Job Duty Check in/out departmental office equipment/supplies (laptops, projectors, etc.
); maintain office supplies; monitor testing supplies and communicate with director when necessary to reorder; deliver Bursar deposits as needed.
Ranking 7 Job Duty Clean desktops and monitors, sanitize headsets, and maintain orderliness of computer labs on a regular basis; maintain a professional and orderly reception area.
Ranking 8 Job Duty Assist with the administration, scoring and profiling of career and psychodiagnostic assessments for the Counseling Center; assist with the preparation of testing results utilized in the Counseling Center’s outreach programming; maintain the highest level of confidentiality with regard to Counseling Center clients.
Ranking 9 Job Duty Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ranking 10 Job Duty Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
