Adult & Teen Programming Librarian

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and innovative librarian to join our team as the Adult & Teen Programming Librarian.
The successful candidate will provide great customer service as well as creative and engaging programming for adults and teens in our community.
We have a tradition of providing excellent programming for all ages, however, this new position will ensure that adults and teens have the opportunity to participate in new, robust programs designed just for them.
This position will work closely with the Youth Services Librarian and the Youth Services Assistant to fill any gaps in programming and to develop new programs.
This person will also assist the Youth Services Assistant with supervising the teens in the Teen Room after school.
Requirements Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area.
We will consider teachers or newly graduated librarians.
Master of Library Science from an accredited institution is preferred.
Previous experience working with adults or teens is preferred.
Previous library experience preferred.
Flexibility is required to bring programming to these groups when it is needed.
This will require some evening and weekend work.
Part time employees have pro-rated Paid Time Off.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.
