FCC Indiana, located in Portland, IN, has openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts in our Press, Lathing, Machining, Assembly, and Inspection areas.
*Responsibilities and Duties:*
* Follow written and verbal instructions, including work standards and check sheets, to produce various product components
* Inspect and verify the accuracy of the product for quality conformance using measuring and testing machines/equipment or by visual examination
* Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts using basic hand tools
* Record production data in the computer system or on paper.
* Maintain production progress concerning the production schedule.
* Adhere to machine/equipment preventative maintenance plans
* Comply with departmental continuous improvement activities (product quality, production efficiencies, scrap, downtime)
* Promote and ensure conformance to the company’s TS 16949 procedures (work standards, regulations, quality manual)
* Promote and ensure conformance to the company’s ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste)
* Promote and ensure a safe, clean, harassment-free, working environment.
Comply with department 5C activities
* Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor, and associates

*Requirements:*
* Must be 18 years of age
* Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
* Prior experience with CNC or lathe is a plus
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Understand basic math
